Dr. Smith received her doctorate from University of Kansas School of Medicine in 2012 and completed her ophthalmology and surgical training at University of Arizona in 2016. Dr. Smith completed a refractive surgery fellowship in St. Petersburg, Florida before beginning her practice at North Idaho Eye in 2017. Dr. Smith will be performing LASIK and PRK as well as providing medical and surgical care for general eye conditions including glaucoma and retinal conditions with an emphasis on cataract and refractive surgery. Dr. Smith is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. When Dr. Smith is not in the operating room or clinic, she enjoys hiking, cycling, travel and watching KU basketball.
