Sara Brumbach Duke, M.D. is an Idaho native. She attended Willamette University for her undergraduate degree, received her doctorate from Creighton University School of Medicine, and completed her ophthalmology-surgical training at Loyola University Hospital in Chicago. Dr. Duke is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She has experience providing comprehensive medical and surgical care for eye conditions including cataracts, macular degeneration, oculoplastic/eyelid disorders, diabetic retinopathy, pterygium, uveitis, and glaucoma. Dr. Duke started her career in Chattanooga, TN, and returned to Idaho in 2014 to join the North Idaho Eye Institute and be closer to family and friends. Dr. Duke and her two boys enjoy spending time in the mountains where they can backpack and ski. Dr. Duke is committed to supporting the Idaho Youth Ranch and The Children’s Village locally, as well as working internationally by going on humanitarian trips to Peru.
