A native of Coeur d’Alene, Dr. Granier returned home to join the North Idaho Eye Institute in 2010, following the completion of her ophthalmology residency at the University of California, Davis.
Although Dr. Granier works as a general ophthalmologist, she has a particular interest in pediatrics and providing care to the underserved. She also has an interest in health policy and improving health care delivery systems both locally and globally. She has participated in medical mission trips in Central America with the International Eye Institute.
Dr. Granier received her medical degree from the University of Washington in 2006. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Whitman College in 2002. Dr. Granier is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and Physicians for Social Responsibility, as well as the local Women’s Gift Alliance. Hobbies include yoga, cooking, outdoor recreation, and spending time with her husband and 2 sons.
